Some things you might want to know . . .
This is my 5th year of teaching and my first year of teaching 4th grade. I recieved my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my Master's degree in Reading from Illinois State University. I am a certified reading specialist and continue to look forward to more educational experiences.
I am a mother to two wonderful and energetic children. Jack is 3 years old and Alexis (Alex as we call her) is 18 months old. They keep me busy and on my feet, but I wouldn't have it any other way! My husband, Jeremy, is wonderful and supportive. He gave us the opportunity to move to Shelbyville when he became the State Farm agent in town. My family and I enjoy getting out and about, playing at the park, going to the pool, or even grocery shopping together. We have a lot of fun together and I am so lucky to have such a great family!
